Bold colours & lines: Marie Reville

Marie Reville studied at Bradford College of Art (Foundation) and Liverpool College of Art (BA Hons).She lived and worked in London for 22 years and had a studio at the Old Gas Works in Fulham. A move to West Sussex is currently inspiring her work and her interest in exploring colour, light and shadow. Her subject matter has previously been inspired by her travels to Iceland and Italy.

Marie is a painter and printmaker. She works in oils and acrylics on small or large scale canvases. Her work is in private collections in the UK , the Netherlands, USA and Australia. Projects include prints commissioned for interior design projects at No 1 Knightsbridge, London (2008/09). Designed costumes for The London School of Contemporary Dance ensemble. These performers took part in the Cosmodance.com project ‘The Nine’ at the Notre Dame de France church, Leicester Square, London (2009). Exhibitions include Old Gas Works Open Studios 2006, 2007, 2008, Affordable Art Fair Chelsea 2007, Glasgow Art Fair 2007, Affordable Art Fair Chelsea 2012, Royal College of Art Fair 2012, Chelsea Art Fair 2012, Affordable Art Fair Bristol 2012.
